Do you know why Photoshop isn’t playing nicely with any window manager I use? (macOS Sonoma)

I don't think it is very fair to say that when

- the OP has tried 4 different window management apps and they are all incompatiable with Adobe's latest releases;

- the window management apps (well at least Rectangle, the one I use) work with technically everything, including older versions of Adobe apps, but their latest releases;

- the developer of Rectangle himself has investigated on the issue and said his hands were tied, if you are willing to spend 2 seconds to click the links provided by the OP above.

Considering the popularity of window managers (and of course, Adobe's stuff) among Mac users, I am confident it is not a niche issue affecting a very small group of users. Photoshop, along with other Adobe apps, had always worked well with window managers; wouldn't it be great if it continues to do so.

Same here, but with Monterey (the furthest my Mac can go). Window resizing and snapping works rather unreliably - sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Even using keyboard shortcuts to zoom in or out restores the window, always. Same problem with all the latest Adobe releases. There is an option on the Rectangle menu to 'Ignore Adobe Photoshop 2024', but checking it does not do anything for me.

Id be inclined to believe this statement but after looking over some of the code myself as well as getting another developers opinion. Well lets just say its not in the hands of thge 3rd parties or Apple.

Photoshop has a lot of legacy and custom code, plus its own display code. The vendors of those third-party window managers will need to update for compatibility. This is not the responsibility of either Adobe nor Apple.

This issue seriously needs to be looked into thanks for also highlighting it. Thought I was the only one going crazy 

For additional details, I also tried out BetterSnapTool and Magnet, and both have the same trouble with Photoshop 25.0.

I tested out v 22.2, and it doesn't have this issue, so until a solution is shared, I may have to run with an older version of Photoshop. 😞
