Docs from IPad (using Procreate) TO Mac Os (Photoshop CC) - PROBLEM READING LAYER DATA

Hello Community,

As an Illustrator I draw on the Ipad (using Procreate), then transfer the doc to my computer - Mac (running Mac Os Mojave 10.14.6) using Air Drop. Then I open the .psd doc on Photoshop CC 2020. This worked fine until the last days. It says now "cannot  read layer data...". I checked my doc which does not have too many layers, roughly around 8 layers.

Has anyone been through this? Any way I can solve this issue?

    thank you Jane,

    However I believe this is more a PHotoshop issue than a Procreate one since it is Photoshop that cannot read the doc anymore.... Procreate works perfect//
