Question

Does "Reset Brushes" option delete all my brush presets?

I downloaded a couple of brush presets, but I no longer use them, so I want to delete them.

How do I do that? Do I just press "Reset Brushes..." option?

I realized that even if I press "Reset Brushes...", deleted brushes appear as one of the "sample brushes", so I was not sure if it had completely deleted brush presets that I downloaded.

No. Reset Brushes just replaces the Brushes you loaded earlier with the Default Photoshop set.

If you do not wish to keep an old Brush set, go to the Folder where you placed the Brush set and delete it.

That is usually found in the Photoshop folder under Presets/Brushes

The other choice is the Preset Manager: Edit menu > Presets > Preset Manager to bring it up.

If you find a Brush you do not want, open the Preset Manager, select and manually delete it.
