@So25_2, when i try to draw on Photoshop, without zoomed in, it kinda works fine but still lags very little. But if i try to draw with zoomed in, the sliders go white from black and only the slider crashes and i can't seem to draw. what can be done in this matter

Hello there, I'm using a custom made desktop built by IBuyPower and I'm suffering from the same issue. I have tried the following:

    • PSUserConfig
    • Microsoft Update but its not compatible with my system.
    • Turning off Windows Ink
    • Reinstalling Photoshop and Adobe Cloud

None of these approaches have worked. If someone has a solution please let me know.

Are you using a pen and tablet?

The latest Microsoft Windows update (KB4093112)  has caused an issue with tablets and Photoshop. The second option works well for most tablets such as the Wacom, the third option seems to work better for those with Surface Pro.

    You can either :

    Undo the update

    or

    Do the following  :

    1. Use notepad to create a text file and type in :

    UseSystemStylus 0

    2. Save the file as PSUserConfig.txt in the following location
    C: > Users > Username > AppData > Roaming > Adobe > Adobe Photoshop CC 2018 > Adobe Photoshop CC 2018 Settings

    3. Go to the  tablet properties and uncheck "Use Windows Ink"

    4. Restart Photoshop

That is it - all should now work well (you need to do all the above steps to retain pen pressure)

    or

There is a third option if the above does not work on your tablet. Microsoft made this change intentionally and they have issued a way round it with registry change (see link below). However for  Photoshop and most tablets the PSUserConfig method works.

Not sure, but try unticking in Photoshop Preferences, under the Performance Tab, Use Graphic Processor.
