Drop-down menu font selection is making it difficult to select fonts in Photoshop CC

I did not have this issue before the most recent update on Windows 10 (2017.0.1 20161130.r.29). First off, when opening the drop-down menu for fonts, there is a significant lag when hovering over different fonts, sometimes when scrolling down it automatically scrolls back up to the top like it is still loading, fonts don't load properly, fonts keep going back and forth between loading in an offset position and loading evenly (samples), keep getting spinning blue mouse icon (Windows 10), etc.

At least without searching for a font I can hover over it and select it. But if I search for a font, I can't properly select the one I want. I click it, but it doesn't change font at all and stays on the current font. It is acting real buggy to the point where selecting font is severely hampering my workflow. In the pic below, I starting searching for the Franklin family of fonts but trying to select any of them does not do anything. I can preview what it looks like on the canvas like normal, but it reverts back to the current font instead of the selected font as if I didn't choose anything at all.

Is anyone else's font selection spazzing out, too? Any suggestions? Thank you.

Yep, that fixed it. I thought had the most recent version. Thank you for the suggestion.
