duplicate jpeg files not showing on tv

I'm seeing duplicate jpeg files on usb flash drive that won't play in a slideshow on Samsung monitor. I see the jpegs and they play but duplicates exist as well that show nothing.

All files were created using CS5. Does anyone know how to eliminate these duplicate files that

won 't show and prevent the repeat showing of my slideshow?

thanks in advance.

Mark

Hi Mark: did you create a PDF slideshow using the Output Module in Bridge? If so, you have a few options:

If, as you say, you just have JPG files on your USB drive, then just plug the drive into your computer and use your operating system to navigate to the drive and remove the unwanted pictures. You didn't mention your operating system so:

    Barbara,

Thank you for your help.  I'm going to try and do a better job of asking my question.

I'm using an Imac running El Capitan 10.11.6. I have Photoshop CS5. I'm trying to run a slideshow of jpeg files dragged and dropped on a Sandisk 8GB Cruzer Flash Drive on to be displayed on a Samsung Commercial Monitor Model RM 48 D.

My problem is that when the drive is shown on the monitor there are an equal number of files that match the actual jpegs.

Is it possible that these extra jpeg files are  EXIF & XMP Data files that the monitor is showing and not reading?.  They don't display and can't be deleted on the monitor itself and prevent the continuous showing of my slideshow.  I've read online that in order to eliminate these extraneous data files I could save my photos for Web & Devices > Optimized>No Metadata.  Also I've read that in SAVE AS Using the Baseline not Progressive Format Option may correct my problem.

    HELP!

Please let me know if you can help me get my slideshow up and running cleanly.

    Thanks,

    Mark

Use File > Export > Export As > JPG.

    Quality: 50%;

Adjust image height and width as required.

    Meta Data: None

    Color Space: Convert to sRGB
