Question

Duplicated image overlayed with green

I've been trying to open a .mkv file in CS6 so I've had to convert through VLC to creat a .mp4.

The video itself works fine after converstion I can play it in media players no issue.

But when I come to open it up in CS6 it looks like this;

If I hit play it can run through the whole video no issue but then the green appears and the image duplicates when I pause, like so;

And then when I click play again the whole video and the time-line itself disappears.

Any idea what causes this? I think the video is corrupted but it's weird it works in media players.

Cheers!

(Just now noticed - once the video has crashed and I've restarted CS6 I then can't even open another video)

    Upload one of your MP4 to a file sharing server and post a link to it. So others can test if their cs6 can open these mp4 your mkv videos you converted to mp4 using VLC.

    Try a different converters than VLC/ Maybe they can do a better conversion to mp4 that will be compatible with CS6 basic video support.

    Are all CS6 updated installed which version of cs6 are you at  13.0.6, 13.0.1.3 or 13.1.2
