E: Image Adjustment variations why was this banned ?

Hi CS6 Image Adjustments Variations.

showed the result of adding red or magenta or blue etc, with a sliding scale for amount and choice of shadows midtones highlights. Great for revealing which direction to take the colour adjustments into.

Used it in CS6

Now I am also with 2026, its gone, go to CS6 its there.

I wanted to adjust some pasted in grass that was a different colour to the existing grass, and this did so.

Instead there is no tool that allows one to pipette the grasses and have Pshop match grass.

Surely feeding in the RGB average of the two grasses would allow Pshop to establish the conversion, Basic fundamental stuff, but without variations I am a fish out of water.

Just why remove a so useful tool ?

Were folk screaming blue murder at it ?
