Ellipses photoshop

so I've been working on this project for a while now and basically I have many ellipses being used in the composition, all of witch I've used a gaussian blur filter on, but for some reason when I copy and paste anything in the composition the filter is immediately removed and the ellipses rendered uneditable and I have no idea why, please help!

Post a Screen capture showing your Photoshop UI where the layers Palette for the document is visible so we can get some idea as the what you are written about. What you have written is too vague.

here is an example. This ellipse also cannot be selected and if I hide the Layer, once i found it manually, it doesnt disappear and just remains there.
