Error 2 Photoshop not defined

I receiev an Error 2-Photoshop nor Defined Error when I attempt to save a file. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling Crerative Cloud Desktop Apptwice and have done same with photoshop app. Probem still persists and I am unable to save my work.

Error occures when returning edited image back to Lightroom from Photoshop after editing. All of the edits are lost.

    Hi @PLPASL sorry to hear this. Could you share the workflow you were doing, steps you were doing before this error showed?  Curious, you say you are unable to save your work but you were able to uninstall and reinstall Ps?  Want to make sure we uderstand how this all started.

     

    Let's make sure we're in a default state and there are no stale settings somewhere: 

    Restore your preferences using this manual method:

    Does it work correctly? 

    If that doesn't solve it, you can quit Photoshop and put the Settings folder back. 

     

     

    It may help if we could see your Photoshop System Info. Launch Photoshop, and select Help >System Info...and copy/paste the text in a reply.

    I have already attempted to reset the preferences both by resetting them at start up and manually deleting the preferences folder and rebooting the machine. Neither solution worked.

    This error had been a problem on an iMAC (2016) that I just replaced with a Studio.

    Prior to transitioning all my data and applications to the the new machine I deleted the Creative Cloud and related applications using the cleaner tool and then did a fresh install on the new machine. Problem persisted.
