Hiya, I was told by Adobe suppport to post to this forum for this license error 150:30, which prevents me from using my already installed Photoshop CS4. It says the license has an issue which I don't understand as I've been using it successfully after purchase for many years. Can someone please advise me why I now randomly have this error which is preventing me from using this programme I literally used this yesterday. I need help ASAP as I need this programme for my work.

what copy of Windows are you running on this machine: 10 pro, 10, 7, Xp... hell it could be Vista for all we know... scripts that work on one are not going to work on the others

When Adobe was in the early stages of their activation plan, it had problems and would stop working giving you the 150:30 error code.

There are two fixes I can point you to:

If Windows, there is a license repair .exe that you run and you get it here:

https://www.adobe.com/support/contact/licensing_download_eula.html

Do not download the license repair app for the Mac. It doesn't work on Intel Macs.

You will need to run a Terminal script.

Carefully follow this guide: https://community.adobe.com/t5/photoshop/150-30-error-updated-license-repair-guide-for-cs3-cs4-acrobat-8-9-and-photoshop-elements-8/td-p/10650886

well its not random and most Mac users know not to run 32bit software after they upgrade but you are the first Windows user I have seen with this issue.

what changed = you allowed Microsoft to mess with your drivers is my guess but you would know better than us what software has changed on your own system since you last used CS4
