Error message on opening JPG: Could not complete your request because the file was not found

Hi, I updated Photoshop to 20.0.7 release and I can no longer open JPG files. The error message is: Could not complete your request because the file was not found. Camera Raw is up-to-date. I am using a Mac, version 10.12.6

Any assistance greatly appreciated! Andrea

    Same problem here, even though I didn't update my Photoshop, only the Camera Raw. Is there a possibility to replace the new version of Camera Raw and go back to the older version? Can't find that option or any older versions in the Creative Cloud App... 😞

     

    Update to my comment: Going back to Camera Raw 10.5 fixed the problem:

    I have the same problem.
    Adobe...Please resolve that as soon as possible. I can't work!

      Had the same issue, couldn't open ANY file after the update. Reverted to the 11.4...etc and seems to be working again. Been meaning to update to High Sierra or lates Mac OS.

      Your are on Sierra as the post Ged shared. I would update to High Sierra if you can, as that is a stable version. Catalina we had a lot of trouble with so dont upgrade to that as the dust is just settling from save as and export not working.
