Even using the brush or the lace the image is never completely erased. The opacity is 100%, Flow: 100%, smoothing: 0% and the configuration of the mask it's ok too.

Could you please post meaningful screenshots with the pertinent Panels (Toolbar, Layers, Options Bar, …) visible? 

Are you sure the colors you are painting are true white and black (to reset the Forground and Background Colord hit D)?

Thank you so much! Hitting the D worked! I thought the colors were truely white and black but they wasn't.

Are you painting on layer mask using Brush tool? Check Window > Properties (double click layer mask) for layer mask. Density should be 100%.

Check the mask properties in the properties panel. The mask may be at a percentage less than 100%.
