Everything Including Color Palette Is Gray

Hello, I was trying to CTRL+T and did it a couple of times because it didn't seem to be responding, then all of a sudden I noticed everything was gray. Everything -- on all the tabs I had open. Even the color palette is all white, black and gray in between. Whatever happened did not show up in or reverse itself in Undo. I am not in grayscale and the channels are all checked. I shut it down hoping it would reset itself but it's still opening up gray. The only place I see a speck of color is on the home screen. What else could this be? Thank you so much for your help!

I might have found it. My color settings were set to custom. Not sure what the customizations were but as soon as I reset it to general purpose, the color came back. Files are opening normally. I'll feel more confident once I've worked a bit and everything is truly back to normal, but that seems to be the fix for now.

So even new documents and existing photographs are showing in greyscale?  If it were not for the Home Screen colour I'd ask if other apps had colour suspecting the monitor.  If things are really as messed up as it sounds, then I'd be inclined to go straight to resetting Preferences.

Good luck.

Thank you. Yes, unfortunately, new documents and files all open gray. Monitor is normal everywhere else.
