Export as doesn't include layers

When I choose Export as either from the top menu or right click my layers are not included in the export. All it shows is a single image file. No matter how I select the layers in the layers palette no layers are included. Layer groups or not. Open layers or not. Locked layers or not. Linked layers or not. Export to PNG, JPG etc. It never works.

All up to date with both PS and W10.

What do you mean? I'm exporting my layers to seperate bitmap formats via Export as. That's been a feature in PS for years. See attachment. It doesn't work anymore. As mentioned the layers dont't get included anymore, it's only exporting one single image.

It works here, using PS v 21.0.2 - provided I :

a. Select all the layers to export in the layers panel

b. Then right click and Export As

Thanks for the response. I just tried it on a seperate machine with the same CC subscription. It doesn't work here. This is why I suspect bugs. When it works at your innstallment but not mine it reflects instable function.

Export as is to export files for the web, which can't support layered files. Use save as if you want to save a layered file and choose either psd or tif.
