This also happens to me. Upon first export from photoshop whether export as/quick export the file is corrupt and can't be opened, however if i re-export following the exact same path and naming of the file and overwrite the previous file it works as expected.

It obviously still allows for export, however, it becomes tedious having to export the same object or file multiple times just for it to work. I believe with the latest update of photoshop did this first start happening.

I am not able to reproduce.

I quit, relaunched Photoshop, opened a file, chose File > Export > Export As..., select PNG, export. Open the exported file. Not corrupt.

Am I missing a step? Anything special about the file you're exporting?

Here is an example of my quick access in windows. As you can see two of the files are corrupt and the files that are not were exported with the exact same path.

Path was File > Export > Quick Export as PNG

Could you post your source PSD and resulting PNGs for us to investigate?

Hi,

We're sorry about the trouble with Photoshop while using Export As or Quick export. Would you mind telling us which version of Photoshop you're using along with the version of Windows you're working on? Are you exporting the files to an external drive? Have you tried changing the location to which you are exporting to check if that makes a difference? If not, please try that & let us know if it helps.

You can also try to reset the preferences of Photoshop manually using the steps mentioned here: https://adobe.ly/2Qzc0K3

Please backup your settings prior to resetting the preferences. You can check: https://adobe.ly/2vNz6FG

Let us know how it goes!

Regards,

Nikunj
