Export As very slow to load

Is there a reason why Photoshop is slow to bring up the export screen when you'd like to export an image as JPG/PNG?

To recreate - File > Export > Export As (takes a 5 to 10 seconds to load up)

Legacy Save-for-web is still fast. 

This is in macOS Catalina.

    It's offically now taking me longer to export than to do the jobs 😞 Is there any fix for this? Maybe like in DaVinci Resolve where you can change preview resolutions or something?

      Same here. Tried deleting all old and unused layers to reduze the size of the file/doc., but doesn't help. 
      Hope there's a fix coming up.

      This dialog, expected to be fast and efficient is sluggish, even more than the legacy "save for web". Could we have the export palette as in Illustrator ?
