Exporting IS TERRIBLE

I have used photoshop for many many years - your new updates are terrible. I've started to switch to sketch for almost everything since after I work on a file I cant export them properly... I am trying to export a png. what it SHOULD do is export the same size as the artboard. HOWEVER it decides that not only does it not need to export the size of the artboard, but it has a white background (which is NOT in my file).

I am an expert photoshop user - but since you guys have starting making crazy weird updates with bad usability I've started using it as minimally as possible... Shame...

with resizing to a smaller pixel value have the same problem legacy export is super slow and my jpeg is part white background.

the other problem is snarky forum users with little help .

what does work ... cc2017 latest update is the preferences /export ..when set to jpeg i get a quick export option but know resize?..

but im in the same boat as doing panorama and needing smaller jpegs .. i get an artboard and some strange part of my work pushed to the right?

I re-read this post 3 times and I still can't tell if the issues are related to Sketch or Photoshop.

    Hi Shirah

On this forum you are addressing fellow users, rather than Adobe.

So to try and help you:

What are you using to Export ? Is it Quick Export as PNG,  Export As  or Save for Web (Legacy)..

If you used Quick Export - did you check transparency in Preferences Export?

If you used Export As or Save for Web , did you check the transparency box?

I would recommend using Save for Web, it has a good preview and you can check the size before exporting
