Exporting pattern pieces

I am creating pattern elements and I would like to share them. However, I cannot work out how to save and then export to someone else.

You can save pattern from Edit > Define Pattern. With selection active Photoshop will offer only selected area to save as pattern preset.

From Window > Patterns you can select pattern or patterns then go to Patterns panel menu and choose Export Selected Patterns.

Hi Sally. Could you please dive a little deeper into exactly what you need to be able to do. Could you not just share your Photoshop file with them? Cheers.
