FIle PSB bigger than 2giga - it ca't open because program error

I can't create a larger file, with effects on layers, smart objects. How can I create artwork for video if the file corrupts? I have a lot of losses, waste a lot of time, and every time, I need to redo everything. I need to split the file into several parts. Can anyone help me on how to avoid such situations? Thank you! 😞
