File will not open in PSCC.

A file will not open in PSCC from Bridge.  All I get is the checkerboard instead of the photo.  I can see the photo in Bridge but not PSCC.  This all started after the last update.  It appears that some setting has been changed and I cannot find it.   HELP !!

    If it started after the last update and if you did the default update (which migrates old preferences forward), then I'd start by resetting preferences and trying again.

    1. If that doesn't work, can you open the file from the disk directly in Photoshop?
    2. Is this an issue with just one file?
    3. Can you share the entire Photoshop window with the Layers panel open?
