Files not opening when I'm away from home

Every time I am trying to work from a different location than from home, Photoshop is not opening. When I open a photo to edit, Photoshop freezes and must make the "ping" sound when I click on the program. I need to "Ctrl+Alt+Delete" and force stop Photoshop. It is higly frustrating.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Please post a system report (Help->System Info.)

Also, are you working from your internal drive? And can you try disabling the Home screen? What peripherals are plugged in at home but not on the road? And if you have different battery/AC settings, check for things like graphics processor and drive sleep. Those could be a problem.
