Files open up in Photoshop CS6 instead of CC 2018

When I open up a PSD file, it opens up in Photoshop CS6 instead of Photoshop CC 2018. I'm on a Mac (High Sierra 10.13.1).

I can click on "Get Info" to change the app that it opens in, but if I select "Change All" so that all other PSD files do it, it doesn't change it.

Is this happening to anyone else? I'm guessing it has something to do with either the upgrade to PS CC 2018 or to the latest Mac OS.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Eddie

It's a known bug. There's a workaround and unless you really know what you are doing, do not modify info.plist to try and fix it as one poster suggested.

does it happen when you open from bridge too? adobe bridge also has a file association section and that might also still associate file to cs6
