Is there a way to find all unlinked layer mask in photoshop? The "search" seems not to support this feature. I can't be the only one demanding this little but useful feature?

any ideas?

we made a Photoshop plug-in that could help. it's does not specifically help with selecting unlinked masks but you can select all the layers with masks and link or unlink all of them at one time. The unlimited version is 12$.

Full Version (12$):

Trial Version (Limited to 5 Actions):

Its also a big help with getting the layers selected.

Kind is Layer kind. Many layer kinds can have layer mask.  There is no filter for layers with masks of any kind and groups can also be masked. There are also kinds of mask. Filter mask, vector layer mask and raster layer masks. If you think you have a good thing that would be useful added to Photoshop use this link  to submit it to Adobe Photoshop Family Customer Community

got it!

I think it´s super useful. How often happens that I client wants to resize or reposition an object in a comp. And if you have an unlinked mask somewhere in that group, than you are screwed! Especially when it's just a mask of a color adjustment und you don´t see it while doing it...
