First click of Wand or Lasso tool opens the Adjust pixel selections webpage

When I use the wand or lasso too, the first click or any double-click will launch the "Adjust Pixel Selection" webpage. I've been using this tool for over a decade--I don't need this! There is no menu or pop-up that appears. I've tried disabling tool tips and all tech previews, but it's getting really annoying to close the page multipe times. Am I missing a setting somehwere?

I'm using the most updated version of Photoshop on a windows computer, and I'm just trying to select areas in a raster image on basic layers.

I've already tried that, and they don't pop-up anymore, but it hasn't stopped the hyperlinking.

Have you gone to Edit>Preferences>Tools and unchecked Show Rich Tooltips?

I have Window 10 and Photoshop 24.5.

This is a new work setup that runs significantly slower than my old personal computer. Is there maybe a drop-down menu or link that happens when hovering over a tool or selection? I'm wondering if the lag is so bad that I'm not seeing the link/drop-down and it's just taking me to the help page.

I can not reproduce on Windows 11, running Photoshop 25.4.0.

What version of windows are you using?

What is the exact version of photoshop you have?

You can see by going to Help>Systenm Info from within

photoshop and looking at the top line that says Adobe Photoshop Version.
