Floating window on top of all (Mac)

I have the Photoshop CC on my MacbookPro and I have noticed an issue which I did not have using windows based computers. Any floating window just seems to hide in the background as soon as I click on the tabbed document I want to work on. Is there any solution for it?

    Just a difference i suppose in how the two operating systems window managers work
