Font issue when saving as Photoshop PDF

I'm creating a file in Photoshop to export as PDF. The font is embeddable (I've done it for another book cover similar to this, and can't figure out how to fix it this time around). I've merged the image layers and left text layers as is. I've double clicked all of them and tried again. Attaching a photo - a couple of the characters are missing pieces of the letter, and it's showing as white. What is going on!? Thank you in advance!
