Font size changing to XX.99

HI, I will have a font set in photoshop at 16PX or whatever size and when I come back to the font,  typically after re-opening photoshop the size will change to 15.99PX. This happens to all fonts across the document. It doesn't matter if it is type kit or an installed font.

If this setting was changed since original file creation, would cause this. But the result would be 15.94 in my expereince.

No settings were changed.

I even tried to replicate the error by changing my unit settings from inches to pixels, which I do sometimes. But no issues.

I have the same OS & Illustrator version and have not run into this, but I normally set my point sizes in pt. Try resetting your prefs, and  keep track of if this ever happens to new files, or just ones prior to resetting the prefs

More thorough Reset your preferences.

Quit Photoshop (100% must do this)

Temporarily Rename This Folder (incase one of your other preferences is corrupted)

HD\Users\(user name)\Library\Preferences\Adobe Photoshop CSX Settings

rename to Photoshop CSX Settings-old

Reset your other preferences  Finder (Hold down Option) >> Choose Library >> got to this folder

Quit Photoshop (100% must do this)

Library/Application Support/Adobe/Photoshop CSX/

rename Adobe Photoshop CSX to Photoshop CSX old

You can quit photoshop undo this to get your workspaces and settings back, if this does not work.

Hi erikp,

We have tried replicating this issue at our end and Photoshop shows the same font size which were selected before. We are on Photoshop CC 2018. Could you please let us know which Photoshop you are using now?

Also, you may try resetting the Photoshop preferences back to defaults and check if that helps.

What OS version are you running? What system enhancement software have you installed, there used to be a simlar problem with Avast Anti Virus.
