I have created a psd document with multiple art-boards. I want Photoshop to force the user to change the art-board name when 'Exporting as'. Is this possible?

I know you can change the suffix when exporting as but id like a way to force the user to change the artboard name. Either when they open the document or when exporting.

Thanks

I don't know of any way to force the user to change artboard names. There may be a way through scripting so it may be worth asking in the scripting forum.

Either way, you can submit a feature request here:

Yes, you can: Use artboards in Adobe Photoshop

Is like changing a Layer name or if you are more into doing things by menu go to layer-Rename Artboard
