Forward Warp Tool

Mac M3, Sonoma 145.2.1, Photoshop 2024.

Hi!

Since yesterday the forward warp tool under liquify is not working, the rate slider doesn't move (but only with this tool, it moves fine with the other tools)

I'm importing an image from Lightroom to Photoshop, making a duplicate background, coverting it to a smart object and go to liquify.

Hope someone knows how to solve this!

Thank you 🙂

Natalia.

As far as i know that's as designed.

The Brush Rate is akin to using the Airbrush (Brush Tool)

When you have a soft brush and hold it in the document area, not moving it, the Airbrush eventually fills the Brush circle.

In Liquify the Forward Warp Tool and Push Left Tool don't do anything until you actually move the cursor.

In other words, the Brush Rate only works with tools that change the pixels without having to move the cursor (brush)
