Hey there,

how can I change the size of the "working frame" of a vector mask? So when you cut out a piece, and want to scale it afterwards, the blue frame has still the size of the original frame.

thanks in advance

Use a copy?  Difficult to give a decent answer without seeing a screen shot.  If you are happy to provide one, make it full res showing the entire workspace with layers panel and image showing.  Thanks

Could you please share a screenshot of the whole window, showing the relevant panels that are expanded and visible?

It depends on what is selected in the Paths panel. If you are transforming (such as scaling) and only the layer mask is changing, open the Paths panel, deselect the vector mask path, and try again.

If the vector mask path is selected in the Paths panel, or if a path editing tool is selected (Path Selection or Direct Selection), then only the vector mask path is transformed.

If the vector mask shape is not selected, then transforming affects the entire layer, both the content and the mask together.
