Generate Asset currently unavailable

Hi Adobe team,
I wanted to use generate image asset for the first time, and I notice that is unavailable on my photoshop.
I'm working on Windows Lenovo Legion 7. 
Can anyone help me please what is wrong?

    @Hussein Deeb - At the minimum you need to add a .png or .jpg extension to the end of a layer or layer group name. Does it then become available to tick and no longer grayed out?

     

    EDIT: I didn't ask, but I should – have you set Preferences > Plugins > Enable Generator?
