Generative expand not working in Photoshop 26.0.0

I am unable to use Generative expand in Photoshop 26.0.0 crop tool. This was working fine till day before yesterday but has stopped now. Has anyone else faced this issue?

When I select the crop tool and try to expand the image, and select Generative expand as the option,, the generative expand dialog appears but then it reverts back to the original crop. Tried using generative AI to add objects and that works.

All my apps are up to date. I am on a Macbook Pro and dont have a firewall or antivirus software or anything.

Any suggestions on how to rememediate this?

Hey, @manisha_saini. Welcome to the Photoshop Community. I've reviewed the account you've used to log in to the community, and I found an active enterprise subscription.

Is this a personal machine, or does an IT team manage the device? If yes, ensure all the Adobe Network endpoints are whitelisted.

You can try using Photoshop Web (https://adobe.ly/3WkhVFm) on an alternate device & internet network to rule out it is a network issue.
