Getting Script alert in PS from Lightroom

When I "edit in PS" from Lightroom I get the following Script Alert in PS:  "IOError: General Photoshop error occurred.  This functionality may not be available in this version of Photoshop. -<no additional information available<"

I am in the latest PS 22.3.0.  PS will not function at this point.  Anything I try to do gives me the further error message: "Could not complete your request because of a program error."

Any suggestions?

It must be a bug in 22.3.  I went back to 22.2, and there is no problem with this version.  Adobe, please advise as to when this bug will be fixed.

What script through that error and where is the script  did the error occur? Did Photoshop start? If the Message window title was Script Alert what script was running.  I do not Install Lightroom so I do not know the linkage between LR and PS. It sounds like you initiated a Photoshop edit from Lightroom. How did a Photoshop Script get involved in this Processing?

In Lightroom, you can edit in PS.  Often you need PS to do things that LR will not do.  Like cloning is much better in PS. So when PS appears, I get this error message.
