Glare free monitor

Can anyone recommend a good quality glare free (matte screen) monitor that's compatible with a macbook pro. The overhead flurescent lights in my office are making it difficult to see my screen.

Well, my Eizo CG 2730 has a matte screen with very little reflection, and a hood which also helps a lot.

Still, I had to remove the bulbs in the overhead lights, and cover the wall behind me with black fabric. My coworkers had some fun with that, as you can imagine, and call me the prince of darkness and so on...but it really pays off. This is one of those things you appreciate once you've done it.

LOL yes, that's my concern with the hood as well. I'll probably just have to change the way I work and tilt the screen down to avoid the lights
