GPU unknown - Photoshop 2024 but newest driver

Hello,

I'm having issues with my photoshop. After updating my Nvidia driver to version 5xxxx. it had had problems with detecting the GPU.
Right now my driver is 566.36 (Geforce GTX 1650) . I did a clean install and manually assigned a processor in the Nvidia control panel. This worked for a day but reopening photoshop I get the same error.

Hello! I found a way to fix it for me. I have to have the Adobe Creative Cloud app open and then photoshop will find my GPU.

@Kris33427769dq5h my first reaction is the graphics card driver is no longer compatible with Photoshop 2024. Have you tried updating to the latest version of Phoothsop 2025?

Possibly? Before updating my driver (version 472.xxx) it still ran.  I've read else where online that photoshop just refusese to work with any 5xx.xxx version.
My photoshop is up-to-date and I just tried out the Photoshop 2025 Beta. Here it does detect my GPU but still gives other errors (picture)

Laptop with dual graphics? If so, disable the integrated GPU as per section 6 & 7 here:
