Gradient on part of picture

Hello, I'm wondering if there is a way to add a gradient on one part of a picture. I only want to have gradient on top of the picture to fix the sky. I want the sky to be a blend of the orange/red at the tree line and blue/black on the top of the picture. Thanks in advance.
