Graphics processor greyed out again in Photoshop 22.5 on Windows 10

I have an AMD Radeon 7800 grpahics card.

But having updated to 22.5 the graphivs card is greyed out, ie I can't enable or disable it.

I'm on a Win 10 machine with a lots of RAM.

Is anyone else having a similar issue and, more importantely, how do I fix this.

I have rebooted several times.

I really don't want to hear the same old Adobe response, ie roll back or reinstal.

I'm recording an update as I'm getting nowhere.

I have confirmed my PC is running DirectX version 12.

My AMD Radeon 7800 card has the min 2Gb.

I still have a greyed out graphic card in Photoshop and a message saying Photoshop has detected an error in your dislay driver.

Photoshop clearly sees my graphics card.

I have reinstalled the driver via the AMD site.

I have confirm that the graphics card works in PS 22.0, but not the latest 22.5.

Can someone suggest anuthing?

Still no answer to this.

Graphics card works fine in one version, but not the latest Ps version.

Graphic card has the latest driver.

The 7800 is a nearly 10 year old card and underpowered.

Hi,

We're sorry that the you're not able to enable the option to Use Graphics Processor in Photoshop 22.5. Please ensure the graphics card you're using is compatible with the latest version of Photoshop. You can check: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/photoshop-cc-gpu-card-faq.html

If the graphics card is compatible with Photoshop 22.5, please try the steps suggested here: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/troubleshoot-gpu-graphics-card.html

Let us know if it helps!

Regards,

Nikunj

First answer your colleague Jeffery's post, which was not helpful. My card meets the minimum standard, ie DirectX 12  + 2Gb.

I've rolled back to 22.0 and all is OK.

When I try the latest version I get the graphic card option greyed out in performance and the messge that photoshop has detected an error with the display driver.

My drivers are the latests and cofirmed by AMD control software..
