Update: Okay i was doing some reading on other forums and found this comment

" go to Filter > Render > Lighting Effects and launch the dialog. You can play with it a bit, but Cancel out and you should see Tree, Flame, and Frame active again. Never had a problem with Cloud, though."

At first, they were greyed out, but once i opened up the Render Lighting effects., Generated a light then closed it. The Trees Panel came back on?

BUT WHY? do i have to do this silly fix every time?

If your machine meets the specs but you don't get the Use Graphics Processor option, like Ged posted, try updating your video card driver. I had that issue after the 2019 update. I noticed it when I didn't have access to Scrubby Zoom.

I had updated my graphics card, no change.

Your Intel processor has a HD Graphics 4600 GPU and it could be causing conflicts, try updating that driver from here

Hi

Also check your GPU settings on the performance tab

Please post a meaningful screenshot including the pertinent Panels and menus.

What are the image’s Color Mode and bit depth?
