Grid lines i create disappear when i zoom in

Hello,

after I create guides from dragging the blue line from ruler. I then select the line using the marquee tool and go to edit then fill and fill it black.

after I do this I zoomed into the project and some of the lines disappeared,almost as if the lines were static but the canvas was moving.

this only occurred on 2 of my computers out of 20.

not sure if i am missing a setting

    The blue guide lines are reference lines that do not print. They may be repositioned by using the Move tool to straddle the a guide line and drag it to another location or return it to the ruler. You may hide/unhide the guides via Cmd+H.

    Lines are drawn with the Line tool that is nested with other tools (above the Hand tool) and accessed with Cmd+U. Take particular note of the fields in its Options bar.
