Question

Half of line drawn with paintbrush gets deleted.

Hello.

When I draw a line with the paintbrush, it gets fully previewed but when I let go only about half of it gets drawn - the rest gets deleted. This only happens to longer lines, but it also seems to depend on the "shape" drawn. I want to draw faces with only one squiglly line and this keeps happening. When I draw other random lines it somehow doesn't happen.

I'd appreciate if someone has an idea what the solution could be.

Thanks!

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post if it helps you get responses.

This might be caused by your paintbrush preset, it's jitter, spacing and other options.

Or it could be a memory issue.

If you're using Photoshop, ensure that your device meets the min-system requirements  - CPU, GPU, RAM, VRAM and ample scratch disk space (physical memory).   With Photoshop, an underpowered computer can cause all sorts of unwanted surprises.
