Question

Hand tool "sticks" when enabled with spacebar

Hello,

I have been having an issue when using the hand tool shortcut.

When I click and drag with the mouse, releasing left click does not stop the pan - instead it seems stuck and I can still drag around in the file without the button held down. I've tried enabling/disabling flick panning, overscroll etc, nothing has any bearing on it. It also happens when using the brush right click commands to change settings, causing innacuraccies and slowdowns. This is primarily an issue on my work machine, so I really do need a fix! It's hurting my productivity. On my home machine I don't have this issue - however some research tells me others have encountered it too. Any advice?

Thanks

I also experience this problem and it seems to happen when I mouse down, then move the mouse and release the mouse **while the mouse is in motion**.  If I fully stop the mouse pointer before releasing the mouse button, then the hand tool does not get stuck.  But if I release the button while the pointer is in motion (like a "flick" genture), then hand tool scrolling gets stuck, as if the mouse up even never occurred.

I do not have Flick Panning enabled, but it seems like it's getting confused because it's a flick-like mouse movement that causes the hand tool to get stuck.

Hi @mrsirmack try going to Preferences/Tools and disabling "Overscroll" - any improvement?
