Question

Has anyone found "issues" with Photoshop 2020 Subscription with regard to "TYPE"

Hello all,

Has anyone found any "issues" with the Photoshop 2020 subscription version?

My first "issue" is that when I placce the type cursor on an image and type:

1. Lorem Ipsum words come up, which is a minor "issue".

2. Lettering size is now in millimeters. Can this be changed to Imperial (English) sizing?

3. There was several "stoppages" that happened, and it took several times to rasterize the type.

These "issues" I'm sure are small, but has anyone found any others?

My version of Photoshop is 21.0.3, and my IMac opoerating system is Mac OS Mojave versioin 10.14.6.

My Imac is the 27" size, and is late 2013 with 24GB of memory.

Thanks,

S.B.

What is your

Photoshop > Preferences > Units & Rulers > Units > Type

setting?

»3. There was several "stoppages" that happened, and it took several times to rasterize the type.«

Could you elaborate on what you mean by that?

Hello C.P.,

There was several "stoppages" that happened, and it took several times to rasterize the type.

When it was time to rasterize the type, I had to repeat the "rasterize" function on the latest subscription of Photoshop.

Thanks for taking the time to reply.

S.

Why did you have to rasterize the Type Layer/s?

Photoshop > Preferences > Type > Fill new type layers with placeholder text
