Have a Surface Pro 11th edition. Just bought Premier Elements 2026. Installed fine, but won't open. What now? Refund maybe? I really want it to work!!

Nothing more to describe actually!

@Aries0170, okay, that sounds frustrating. Seems like you can get a refund if within a week or so of purchasing Elements. But you’ll need to contact Adobe customer service directly. We don’t have any access to your account here in the Community.

I see that Adobe’s system requirements for Premiere Elements 2026 are as follows:

    • Processor: Intel 8th Generation or newer (or AMD equivalent) with AVX2 and SSE4.2 support
    • Windows on ARM processor not supported

Looking up possibilities on why it’s failing, it looks like The Surface Pro 11 runs Windows 11 on ARM (via Snapdragon), so even though installation completes, the app itself fails to launch properly because it's not built for ARM processors. As far as I know, Adobe hasn't enabled native or reliable emulated support for the Elements line yet.
