Healing Brush/Clone Tool : Color Options?

I work on many B&W images, all requiring some healing brush and clone tool work. The outline for these tools is either black or white. When working with image areas near 50% grey the tool tips can be impossible to see. We have the ability to change the color of guides, can this capacity be added to the brush/tool tips please?

The workaround I've found involves adding a semi-transparent color fill layer over the layer I'm working on to help the tool outlines show up. While this does help, the effect doesn't significantly reduce eyestrain as I'm staring at a pink or green screen constantly (I do change it up during the day to try and reduce the color fog I see when I look away from the screen).

Is there any means of requesting such a feature from Adobe? I have looked but can't seem to find out how to make a request or suggestion.

Apparently you work on RGB files so another option would be temporarily hiding one of the three Channels by clicking its »eye«-icon in the Channels Panel.

I do have this on the PS Family site. Didn't seem like it had any direct connection to Adobe. My bad. Thanks. Good to know it is submitted!

The RGB channel hide is a similar effect as the color layer above - it certainly does help, but does not really address the eyestrain. Being able to work on images as they actually appear would certainly be much better.

That page is being monitored, so (as far as I know) no matter whether an Adobe employee ever posts a specific reply the post is being registered.
