Help Batch Processing - Need to add the same text to the end of filenames for a bunch of files

Hi

I would like to batch process adding text to existing file names of images

Before: filename.jpg

After: filename_text.jpg

I tried Bridge however it seems to only allows you to append at the beginning of the file name not the end (unless I'm missing something)
I tried recording an action in Photoshop however you have to have a file open so the recording only worked on that file name not others
I googled for a while and could not find an answer

Bridge definitely allows for Current File Name_text, so i'm not sure what you're doing wrong. Try providing a screenshot.

When you record your action that works with one file, you can run that action as a Batch. Maybe this will help: https://www.webucator.com/article/how-to-save-an-action-set-in-adobe-photoshop/
NOTE - please only test this on a duplicate folder of files, to ensure it doesn't change all your files, permanently, before you're ready.
