Help doesn't work

Whenever I try to reach Help (either using F1 or the Help menu) I get a message:

"Unable to display online help. Connect to the internet and try again."

I clearly am on the internet, since I can do everything else such as accessing websites, email, etc.

I am using Photoshop CC 21.2.4, InDesign CC 15.1.3 x64, Acrobat Pro DC

version 2021.001.20145. The problem extends across all those programs, although the Acrobat message is slightly different.
