Help for sizing an image

I have an image that I would to print at a certain size (11 by 13 cm)

I used photoshop to play with the colours a bit and I would now like to print it in the desired size.

How can i resize my image to be sur it prints at the desired size, and with the right resolution?

Image menu > Image size

But this is not always as straightforward as it appears. What is the size and resolution now?

right now it is 8 by 11 inches and the resolution is 300

Activate the Crop Tool from the toolbox
Choose W x H x Resolution from the first drop down list in the Options bar
Type 11cm in the Width, 13cm in the Height field then type 300 in the last text field.
Ensure that px/in is selected from the last drop down list immediately after resolution text field.
Click inside crop rectangle then resize it or move it as desired then confirm on Enter/Return or using checkmark in the Options bar.
