Hi guys. This is really strange. I have created elements on a 300dpi canvas. Labeled them without any attributes like this ... "BohoBaby-CC-Stamp-03.png". I generate assets and they all export at 72dpi. Please help Ihave too many assets to manually cropand save them as .png's. I created a new file and the same thing happens.

Export is meant for exporting web images there is likely no Resolution set in the exported files for resolution is meaningless on the Web the setting is not relevant for displays can not change their pixel size they have only one resolution the resolution they were manufactured with. All the matters is the canvas size how many pixels you have for an image X pixels wide Y pixels high.   All 4K displays display 3840x2160 pixels small 4K displays have a high resolution  70" 4K TV have a low resolution.  All 4K TV  and displays Display 3840x2160 pixels.

If you want to save High resolution Print PNG files use menu File>Save as>png. Batch with something like the downloadable Plug-in Image Processor Pro...

Hi there, that's not correct. I have used Generate Assets and it has exported at 300 dpi in the past and many times, I dont know why it's exporting at 72dpi now.

All I know is if a file does not have a dpi setting if you open it in Photoshop.  Photoshop will default the resolution to 72DPI.  Photoshop need to have some setting for when you use some unit that is relative to resolution like inches Photoshop can calculate how may pixels to use. It is no big deal if the resolution is not what you want if the pixels you need are there.  You can set the image to have any DPI you care to with out changing a single pixel.  use Image Size with resample NOT checked set the resolution you want the image to have. All the changes is the size  of the pixels the image will be printed with when you prtint.  Till you print pixels have no set size.
