Help me TT The eraser changes into a brush!

Hi! I may not be good at English because I am Korean student. Excuse me in advance and thank you.

I am using Photoshop 2020, and while I am using an eraser, I see an error that changes to a brush.

I asked Adobe, but they don't seem to know exactly.

Is it because I updated Windows 10?

Sometimes if the brush tip you select for the Eraser is a Brush Preset, it may have the Brush tool "Built in". You can tell these by the small paintbrush in the corner of the brush thumnail.

 

This can also be a problem with tools such as the Clone Stamp or Smudge tools.

But my case was changing to a brush while "erasing" with an eraser, not when to "choose" a brush thumbnail. (TT)

So far, I have looked for more answers, but they have not been resolved.
It was resolved when I deleted the Photoshop and installed it again... Thank you for your reply! have a good day!
